How do I join my parish?

Ask your parish admin or ministry leader for an invite. Open the Unitas app, sign in, and enter the invite code they share with you. That links your account to your parish so you can see its schedule, events, and assignments.

How do I sign in? Do I need a password?

Unitas is passwordless. You can sign in with a one-time code sent to your email, a magic link, or your Google or Apple account. There's no password to remember or reset.

I'm a volunteer — how do I accept or decline an assignment?

Open the Mass or event you've been assigned to. Each role shows an Accept or Decline action. Tap Accept to confirm you'll serve, or Decline if you can't make it — your ministry leader is notified either way.

How do I request a substitute?

From an assignment you can't cover, tap Request a sub. Unitas asks other qualified volunteers in your ministry to fill in. When someone accepts, the assignment moves to them and you're both notified.

How do I change my notification preferences?

Go to your profile and open Notifications. You can turn each channel (email and push) and each category (assignments, reminders, sub requests, messages) on or off independently.

How does my parish sign up or upgrade?

Parishes start free and can upgrade any time. See plans on our pricing page, or head to sign-up to create a parish account and choose a tier.

Is Unitas free?

Yes — there's a free tier for smaller parishes. Paid tiers (Core, Advanced, and Diocese) add higher member limits, custom branding, mass templates, auto-scheduling, and more.
